Qkr! - Payment of School Activities

Qkr! App Information

About the Qkr! App

Ashdale Primary School is partnering with the P & C and moving with the times. We are excited to announce that we are introducing the Qkr! (pronounced – Quicker) App to make your life easier. For preliminary information, visit the link below and the QKR website.

Commonwealth Bank Qkr! Information

The Qkr! App enables payment for school activities and for canteen ordering. Qkr! aims to save time, convenience and efficiency to both parents/caregivers and school and canteen staff. The Qkr! App is a free and easy-to-use mobile app that lets parents/caregivers use their smart device (iPhone, iPad, Android & Tablet) as another option to pay online for some of our school activities and to order canteen lunches without having to send money through the envelope system or giving their children cash to carry to school. The Qkr! App can be downloaded from the Apple Store or Google Play to your device. (iPads and tablets – use mobile app for these). For those without access to a smart device, a web-based version of Qkr! Is available at the link below.

Although the app is a Mastercard initiative from the Commonwealth Bank, it enables payment from most financial institutions and major credit cards (credit, debit or pre-paid) with Safe and Secure Mastercard Technology. (Amex and Diners are unfortunately not acceptable). The service is available free of charge to you.

Qkr! gives the ability to manage children’s canteen orders to ensure they’re eating well and flexibility to place orders wherever and whenever. It also removes the hassle to find the correct money and a paperbag or money envelope and, there is no need to load funds in advance. Orders are able to be placed by a given time on the day required and 2 weeks in advance.
Parents will have flexibility with our current payment options. In Term 1, 2017 we will be offering and promoting payment by QKR! for selected school activities/products, eg: swimming, graduation shirts and jackets and throughout 2017 more activities will be added.
